Hey T...
What can I say, my Emily is sooo much better. After you and I conversed, about the whole mono/Epstein Barr thing.. we pumped her full of garlic, omegas, protein shakes etc. just like you suggested. On Thursday night her fever broke so we ended up NOT canceling our vacation. I'll let the evidence, attached, speak for itself, taken yesterday. You are such a sweet and caring person.
From Emily..."Daddy, please tell the nice lady that is on TV that helps people with ugly houses fix them and make them pretty, that I thank her very much for helping me because I really felt, like totally bad. She is a really nice lady and I like her and tell her that I feel so much better now."
Hopefully this will put a little sunshine in your day and you'll know that no matter what else happened this past week you made a big difference in the little world of a very sweet little girl.
Merci Beacoup!!

Hello Tanya,
I would like to thank you for the signed photo I recently purchased. I gave the photo to my wife Debra last night. She was so touched by the special inscription, she cried. Debra is starting a Home Staging & Redesign Business in Rhode Island and the photo really hit a homerun. Thank you for taking the extra time to personalize the photo. We love your show on HGTV. Some of your facial expressions are priceless (LOAO). I wish you and your family all the best and success.
Sincerely,
Rick Riccitelli
The Italian word for Fan is tifoso one who is mightily fevered.
Being a fan might mean different things to different people.
Some might say she is great and I watch her, others? well maybe we
will one day see a scene that resembles the British invasion of the
Beatles.
I thought I'd tell how being a fan has helped me. I watch video taped
episodes of sell this house everyday first thing during the run on my
treadmill. Why? I cannot see myself ever selling my home. What do I
get from the show? Its nice to watch a beautiful person both in and
out. I think Tanya could sell advertising space brushing her teeth.
I
do like home interior ideas and the before and afters. Beyond the
obvious attractions I get more from the show. They say that life is
ninety percent attitude and ten percent circumstance. I believe the
show to be a good outline for a successful day. First there is the
smile and the greeting from where you are and what is good about the
town you are in (where you are).
Then there is the meeting of people. People are important, make eye
contact ask questions and wait for answers. Assess the situation(work
to be done)Seek out honest opinion,Organize the work to be done,Do
your work with a sense of adventure, fun, energy, excitement, goodwill and
even charity. At the end of the day look back at what was
accomplished, its the reward for your work. I would not start my day
any other way than with that outline and that particular smile. There
are more benefits to being a fan.
Since I will not miss the show, I
made a rule for myself. I cannot watch Tanya unless I'm running on the
treadmill. I lost over thirty pounds. Among other things I am a song
writer. I have found that when I watch news programs with talking
heads debating foreign policy, taxes and the war, what I write sounds
angry. If you want to write something beautiful you must experience
beauty. Tanya, her show and her CD Gemini has transformed my writing.
I'm going to leave a pre Gemini song I wrote in my album just to show
the contrast.
Tanya is truly a wonderful warm person. I'd love to meet
her someday. She really does value her fans. I think Fan is short for
fanatical.
YUP, I think that about sums it up.

Hi T,
I've been a fan for years (since we got Direct TV) and just love Sell This House. I don't know why it took so long, but I finally went hunting for your website. The best part was the blog. The adventure in St Tropez is incredible. I was sitting at work and just mesmerized by the story you told. As brief as it was it was still incredibly vivid and powerful. Who wouldn't want to be there in your shoes, living the life, after reading that? I only wish I could write half as well. I write safety and environmental programs and have almost completely lost my ability to write colorful stories (as you can tell by this e-mail). But I digress. I can't wait to hear the music. No speakers on the crappy old work computer.
STH always puts a smile on my face. C'mon, for cheap you are helping these folks sell their place and move on to something better. Who wouldn't love that? But what's with the people who don't like the changes. Please, the point is to sell to the buyers not change it for them. That just cracks me up.
Anyway, you are AWESOME!
Health and Happiness,
Jeff Kirk CHMM

Dear Tanya:
I have never taken the time to sit down and write a personal letter to someone that I've never met. There are few people in the world that
have the energy and seem to radiate such happiness as you. Of course
your external beauty is striking and that's what first caught my
attention. You seem to have more depth and more internal beauty. I
hope I am not wrong on this. Like many people I first saw you on
Sell this House. You make such a simple show somewhat meaningful. I
say somewhat meaningful because I don't watch much television. Trust
me there are many shows like Sell This House that have a higher
production budget but, they don't have Tanya Memme. I truly feel
there are few people in the world that "glow" like you do. I know you
are very successful at this point in your career but, I know there
will be even bigger things on the horizon. I won't say better because
you are doing some amazing things that would complete and
fulfill most entertainer's careers.
What prompted me to write this letter is that I was cleaning my office
and I decided to purchase your CD online. Your CD seems to have
passion and is sincere. I lived in Los Angeles for 12 years and
worked in the entertainment field and trust me I would not throw out a
compliment very often. You are following your dreams unlike many
people. . Your smile and happiness and music make me and a lot of
people happy. I wish you continued success and hope to see more
greatness out of you!
Sincerely and all the best,
J.B. Farrell

Dear Tanya
I was looking through AskMen.com's website today, hoping to find Tanya listed in the "Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2007" that they have posted.
Alas, no Tanya...which, of course, is totally unacceptable.
Attached find my remedy to this oversight. Albeit a faux image/listing, I think Tanya's fans would appreciate the sentiment if it was posted on the website.
All the Best!
Peter

Hi Tanya
I made a request to your myspace page but its hard to tell who's real and whose not. I am a portrait artist from Canada and I would be interested in painting a portrait of you for display on my myspace page. I've done about 260 portraits of people from various walks of life and I would love to add you. I do them from pictures so I wouldn't need you to pose. Check out my page at myspace.com/artlol and let me know if you're interested.
Cheers
Dale

Hello Tanya,
I must say I have never written to a celebrity
before, but I felt compelled to let you know that you make my mornings
wonderful. I use my DVR to record "Sell This House" while I am at
work, and I wake up early enough to watch it with my PopTarts every
morning before I start my day. It's a delight to see your energy and
enthusiasm, as well as your charm (granted, you've probably had a lot
more caffeine than I have). I wish you well in your future, because
you've certainly touched my life and put happiness, joy, inspiration
and giggles into it! I look forward to every show!
Warmest Regards,
Julia

OK, I had good intentions of doing something
besides plugging-in to the TV today, but I've now been 3 solid hours on the
couch watching show after show of Sell This House and Move This House,
only because of you.
You're terrific - gorgeous, and funny, and
natural, and smart! I would love to meet you, and tell you MY "Oprah"
story. What's the likelihood that you'll be anywhere close to Des
Moines anytime soon?
Best,
Steve

Dear Tanya,
:-) thank you. So you're coming out with a CD?
That's awesome! I will buy it the moment I see it out. You are so
talented and all over the place.
Where do you get your energy? lol You kick ass, Tanya. Hey, thank you
for the pic, the additional pic, and your note :-) I was immensley
flattered and truly honored that you took the time out of your busy
schedule to personally respond to my impatience
- lol. I owe you a picture of me. Keep that Calendar idea close ;-)
XO right back at ya.

Hi Tanya!
I just mailed my order for the autographed photos.
I can't wait to get
them!! I am a big fan and never miss the shows.
Hope to hear you on the
Bob and Tom Show again soon. Chick thinks he is
your biggest fan but I
would argue with that. Hope you have much success
and find all the peace
and happiness you deserve.
Your biggest fan in Indy,
Steve

Dear Tanya,
I have been a semi-fan of the other home improvement show Trading Spaces. Recently though I have been more and more intrigued with Roger's taste and style and am just amazed at how he can do so much with just a little paint and some fabric. You are just the
right complement to Roger. He's all business, where your personality and interaction with the home owners puts them at ease and helps to make what can be a traumatic experience fun. You have the unique gift to be able to 'read' a person quickly. You know how much you can push or pad someone without making them angry or upset. And you're really quite a worker! I get tired just watching you. Oh yeah, plus you're gorgeous too! I hope your shows have a long successful run!

From Shawn in Kingston, Ontario
Hi Tanya,
You probably won't see this, but I wanted to congratulate you on all
your sucess! I am really proud to see a fellow Canadian kick ass in the
industry, especially in the US. You are the most beautifull woman on TV.
Good luck in your future endeavors.
Sincerely,
Shawn
Shawn, thank you so much for writing in and I hope this proves to you that I read my letters.
Thanks again and happy holidays,
-Tanya
From April Subject: Wonder Woman!
This is just a quick little note. I am a fan of "Sell this House" and
think Tanya Memme is fantastic. I also love wonder woman as a
character (especially as portrayed by Linda Carter). I know there are
talks and plans to make a new "Wonder Woman" movie to be released
sometime in 2007. If she is at all interested... PLEASE have someone
setup an audition. (Not that I know her body of work well, but I just
think she'd be perfect!)
Thanks for listening!
Take care,
April
From Jack in the USA Subject: Watched Your Show Tonight
You can redo my house any day but it would be a huge challenge. Much too much stuff and not enough space. Ever go from a 3000 square foot house to a 1350 sq ft house and make it work? I had to buy a big shed and put it on my property.
I just wanted to say you crack me up. You are very entertaining and fun to watch. You have a very lively personality and a very bright aura about you. You made me realize that the 2 most beautiful women came from Canada. Who, you say? Well you and Shania that's who. You both are gorgeous. I must make a trip up north! Keep up the great work. You are a positive influence in today's world of madness. A very bright and shining future to you.
Best Regards,
Jack
Jack, first and foremost, thanks for writing! I love hearing from fans and thanks for the wonderful compliments. Not having enough space is always a big issue when moving to a new home. It sounds like you did the right thing by temporarily storing everything in a shed. Starting fresh is much easier than trying to rearrange an interior cluttered by too much furniture from a much larger home. By storing everything outside you are able to visually plan the space from scratch.
Now you can bring only what works into your new and smaller home and send the rest to Goodwill. :-)
