Chalkboard Block Town

This has to be one of the quickest DIY’s, and it’s super cute and fun too! Use pieces of scrap wood to create a town that kids can personalize with chalk! Read on for the directions.

Materials:

  • Scraps of wood, small enough to stack
  • Colored or tinted chalkboard paint
  • Paint brushes
  • Chalk

Instructions:

Step 1: Get scraps of wood that are small enough to stack. If you don’t have any at home, try asking around at stores like Home Depot & Lowe’s where they cut wood for customers.

Step 2: Paint with colored/tinted chalkboard paint. Let dry for 24hrs.

Step 3: Give the kids white chalk and watch them have fun drawing windows, doors, trees, people etc.!
